It is always an honor to collaborate with Bergen Family Promise, a nonprofit serving working families experiencing homelessness in Bergen County, New Jersey. These families are employed, their children in school—yet they are sleeping in cars, on friends’ couches, or in temporary hotel rooms, a reality that often goes unseen in such an affluent community. With funding declining and demand rising, this year’s annual appeal needed to do more than gently ask for support; it needed to break through the noise in a meaningful way.
We developed a bold, integrated print and digital campaign built around the theme, “A nice couch, car, or hotel isn’t a home. But your kindness can be the key.” Warm, vibrant illustrations paired with clear, direct messaging reframed the issue and underscored both urgency and hope, driving donors to give generously through an emotional ask and a strong call to action. The impact was tremendous, helping more families access housing, meals, and the personalized support they need to achieve lasting independence. We are proud to support Bergen Family Promise in advancing such meaningful work.
